Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Anxiety Treatment

At CBT Baltimore, we’re not just about helping you manage anxiety, we’re about empowering you to lead a life unbounded by it.

Out-of-Office Sessions

To create maximum gain when doing exposure work it is best to undergo treatment in an environment that is real for the client.

We offer parent support and training because we believe that you play a pivotal role in your child’s treatment.

Intensive treatment options are useful for jump-starting the progress of a patient who has reached a frustrating plateau in treatment,

Telehealth

We utilize an online platform that is easy to navigate, has a clear connection and maintains the standards of privacy outlined by HIPAA.

What is the role of a therapist? The therapist’s job is to create a space that is comfortable and safe enough for a client to open up in and allow themselves to be vulnerable. It is a challenge for most of us to peel away the layers and share. It is not the clinician's job to be magicians or advice givers that make problems disappear. They hope to be the messenger that enables the client to be their own vehicle of change.

Shmuel Fischler, LCSW-C, Director

I take pride in transparency and authenticity in my practice. We have to be real in order to help people. Being disingenuous and patronizing will come back to bite the clinician. We invite brutally honest feedback from clients.
