Anxiety is an innate human response that assists one in dealing with stress, protects us when danger is apparent, and helps one prepare for the future; however, when one experiences it too often or in the wrong context, it can be soul crushing. You may fear being judged in social contexts, experience physical symptoms (panic) in other contexts, generally fear the unknown and uncertainty, or engage in compulsive behaviors aimed at reducing your anxiety.

Whatever the case may be, I can help you confront your fears.  “We’ve got to go through it” and learn that your anxiety is not the “bear” that it professes to be (loosely based on We’re Going on A Bear Hunt). You don’t have to go on this journey alone, as I will be your guide. In this role, I will continuously help you challenge your own perceptions and approach and face your anxiety.

A little about me: I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2019 and have specific training in CBT for anxiety disorders from the Beck Institute. I have also received specialized training in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD.  I look forward to working together with you and helping you confront your fears!
