Yisroel received his Master’s in Social Work with honors from Daemen University in Amherst, New York. Yisroel’s clinical social work experience includes working with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive behaviors, trauma, and complicated grief. Yisroel draws heavily from the therapeutic models of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) among other evidence-based approaches. He is also a Certified Trauma Professional (CTP) and incorporates exposure techniques and somatic interventions into his trauma work. Yisroel takes a client-centered and goal-oriented approach and is passionate about helping clients get where they want to go.

Prior to social work practice, Yisroel helped run a pediatric speech, occupational, and physical therapy clinic and taught elementary, middle, and post-high school students, opportunities that provided valuable insight into diverse areas of childhood and adolescent development. Yisroel speaks English (native) and Hebrew (conversational) and has been writing and presenting on topics of emotional wellbeing through an Orthodox Jewish lens since 2017.
