Finding a supervisor that ‘fits’ can be a frustrating process. Clinicians may require a supervisor to fulfill a licensure requirement. Others value ongoing professional growth and acknowledge that learning never ends.
Our clinical director, Shmuel Fischler, is a Maryland state-approved clinical social work supervisor. In addition, he is approved by the Maryland counseling board to supervise LGPCs (not for all of their required hours). He has the privilege of supervising graduate-level clinicians and PGY-3 Medical residents.
