Emily received her bachelor’s in Psychology from James Madison University. She is currently completing her master’s in Clinical Psychology at Towson University and her graduate-level internship here at CBT Baltimore.
Emily’s clinical experience includes working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum and related disorders. She has since found a passion in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive and related disorders, and trauma for children, adolescents, and adults. Emily prioritizes creating a non-judgmental and safe atmosphere for healing. She pulls from several approaches in her clinical work, including CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, among others.
